Meatless Mondays

The average American diet contributes an extra 1.5 tons of greenhouse gases per year compared with a vegetarian diet. Eliminating meat and dairy intake one day a week can make a big difference. Why not try Meatless Monday! It’s a great way to be good to the environment and good to your own body. Try a big salad for your dinner table. Lots of color, a variety of veggies and both beans and cheese for some protein. To appease those pickier diners at your table, make a salad bar on your table and let everyone do-it-themselves!
