Tart Tip

Oh how I love my microplane, for grating nutmeg, for cinnamon and chocolate and cheese. If I need a bit of garlic or ginger my grater is there.
But mostly I use it for zesting citrus, and here is my tip: Once the lemon is zested and cut in half, I squeeze the juice over the microplane, into a bowl, letting the grater catch all the seeds for me. Double duty!
