HuffPost Table Talk: Conquering Fears

Summer is a great time for trying something new—school is out, office work quiets down and many people use the time to travel or explore new activities. It can be scary to try something new and conquer one’s fears, but once accomplished, there can be a world of new possibilities. Maybe you’re afraid of heights, or don’t love to swim or are nervous about traveling somewhere for the first time. But, often with risks there are rewards.
What are some of your summer goals? What about goals for the rest of the year? What are some of your fears? How would you conquer them? Why is it important to conquer your fears? How can you help others conquer their fears? What is something you’ve accomplished this summer? How do you feel after you’ve accomplish something?
