Family Dinner Tip: Take Your Time

When they eat together at all, families are eating faster. According to a 2011 survey of 1,000 teens by the National Center for Substance Abuse at Columbia University, 32% of families spend 20 minutes or less eating dinner. The family dinner table is not a feeding trough, it is the most important place to slow down and spend quality time with your family connecting and communicating. Take your time!
